Pre-Litigation Attorney Manager
The candidate will lead, manage, measure, and provide feedback to a team of Attorneys to drive the best results for our clients. Work alongside HR to onboard and develop new attorney hires to integrate to the culture and grow the team. Review and even handedly assign new incoming cases and transfers to Attorney Teams. Assure that each case is proactively prepared with a trial ready perspective and the case is developed to achieve the maximize recovery for the client. Consistently direct, review, and approve the work of Attorney Team members. Support the Intake team for high level review and evaluation of cases for acceptance. Work closely with leadership team to ensure systems are in place to hire, train, develop, recognize, and reward Attorneys. Control the flow of cases and intermittently manage a small docket of personal injury cases from different Divisions. Interreact with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, mediators, and judges over the phone, electronic communication, and in person. Train case action planning to provide immediate analysis on liability, damages, collectability, and communicate the steps the Attorney Teams will follow in order to achieve the best results for the client. Should have 7+ years Personal Injury Trial experience (with 5+ jury trials). Previous law firm management experience is required. Previous experience with salesforce is a plus. Active Texas and/or New Mexico Bar License is required. Bilingual skills are a plus.
