Senior Stock Merchandiser

Profile

Support PVH/Tommy Hilfiger business goals by executing and maintaining complete stock presentation in a neat and organized manner in the department of home store, as well as additional retail locations according to the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Place new product or fill in product on the selling floor from the stockroom or the dock in style, size, and color order as directed by the merchandise guide or by the department manager.
• Fold, size and maintain tables
• Organize back stock by style and color
• Check stock for missed markdowns
• Check for proper signing of fixtures and report any missing or incorrect signs to the department manager
• Assist the Coordinator team in visual presentation, including mannequins, outposts, and merchandising product to Tommy Hilfiger Standards
• Broaden the awareness of all PVH brands among consumers and in-store management/personnel
• Assist customers with selections where necessary, and engage in selling according to PVH Brand Strategies
• Communicate any presentation or stock issues to the Coordinator or District/Regional Manager
• Travel to local stores beyond assigned home store to assist Coordinator or Regional/District Manager, and report back any opportunities/successes, utilizing all resources to do so.
• Potential to provide service and sales support for limited number of lower volume assigned doors in addition to home store. Partner with manager to set rotation (1-2 times per month), assume full responsibility to merchandise according to TH VM standards, maintain and restock floor, keeping up to date on all sales information.
• Actively works to improve performance and business processes and make appropriate business decisions regarding TH products.
• Develops the processes necessary to complete projects. Well-organized with strong attention to detail. Completes tasks in a timely manner. Develops plans and knows how to execute them. Flexible with shift in priorities, scheduling.
• Associate must be able to perform physical aspects of merchandising and stock work. Proficiency in E-Mail and other basic computer skills. Ability to review sales reports, and react accordingly.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years stock/merchandising experience in a retail environment

• High school or technical school completion
• Keen sense of style and fashion helpful in selling function
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great initiative with the ability to be a collaborative and team player
• Excellent ability to maintain diplomacy, composure and effectiveness in a fast paced environment
• Ability to be intuitive, able to anticipate needs and develop options
• Positive, professional attitude and presence, ability to exhibit exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer/e-mail skills; familiarity with selling reports
• Superior follow through, organization, time management, and attention to detail
