Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal – Garland, TX

An established and growing personal injury practice is looking for an experienced Bilingual Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join its Dallas-area team.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for a paralegal with at least 3 years of personal injury pre-litigation and litigation experience who is comfortable managing a high-volume caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience handling at least 100 cases and be able to take ownership of cases from initial intake through settlement, trial and post-trial procedures.

This person will serve as a primary case manager, working closely with attorneys, clients, insurance companies and medical providers while keeping cases organized and ensuring deadlines and required documentation are handled properly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload from intake and case opening through settlement and closing


• Handle both pre-litigation and litigation matters


• Maintain organized and up-to-date case files


• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance companies and medical providers


• Order and obtain medical records and other documentation


• Communicate with clients and medical providers throughout the treatment process


• Obtain documentation necessary to support injury and liability claims


• Work with insurance carriers and medical providers to obtain records and account balances


• Contact insurance companies to determine available coverage and policy limits


• Draft litigation complaints and discovery responses


• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of case-related tasks


• Prioritize multiple matters in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal injury pre-litigation and litigation experience


• Experience managing a caseload of 100+ cases


• Bilingual English/Spanish required


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with significant client contact


• Excellent organizational and time-management skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure


• Strong attention to detail


• Dependable and strong work ethic


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment


• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Compensation & Benefits

Salary up to $70,000+, depending on experience.
