RiverPoint has an immediate need for an ATG Developer for a three month contract located in the Northern Suburbs of IL.
ATG Senior Developer
We are looking for an ATG Senior Developer to assist in the development of our B2B facing eCommerce site on the ATG 9 platform. This is an amazing opportunity for a developer already familiar with ATG to supercharge their technical skill set and broaden their e-commerce functional exposure by working on a wide range of custom-developed feature sets needed for delivering advanced and diverse B2B functionality.
• The ATG Senior Developer will perform technical design and development function by working with Analysts, Developers and Architects to document and implement customizations to meet business requirements including system design, database changes, screen changes, and workflow.
• Responsibilities will include development on the ATG eCommerce platform – ability to provide a moderate to high level of thought leadership in discussions regards extending ATG applications, developing standalone components, and integration to our ERP (SAP) system.
• Individual should be able to articulate technical standards practiced on previous ATG Commerce implementations they have participated in.
• Ability to interpret business requirements for feature sets and produce a detailed technical design based on ATG best practices and conforming to existing implementation standards.
• Ability to interpret detailed technical design for feature sets and produce custom-developed ATG solutions.
Experience Needed
• Expert level with Java
• Functional knowledge of JSP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• At least 2 years experience developing applications on ATG Commerce
• Experience working with ATG B2B Order Management software a plus
• Experience extending ATG web applications (ATG application server, Catalog, Content Management, Personalization Engine, and ATG Commerce platform with custom code.)
Skills Required
• Ability to design and develop effective technical solutions using several core technologies like Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, SQL Server, SQL, HTML, and XML.
• Solid verbal and written communication
• BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience
