Responsibilities: Oversee the law school’s graduate programs (LLM General, LLM Tax, International LLM, and SJD), including curricular offerings, student recruitment, admissions, and the development of new courses/degrees. Overseeing the graduate legal studies programs, including engaging in strategic planning with members of the Graduate Studies Committee so as to deal with the increased competition for legal graduate students; Developing goals for the graduate programs; Reviewing the curricular and co-curricular experience of our graduate students; Make recommendations to expand the program (including online courses/programs and additional doctorate degrees); Examining the graduate programs of peer schools and building relationships with other schools. Recruiting candidates for legal graduate studies programs both domestically and internationally including traveling to various other schools and countries to make presentations, cultivate relationships, and recruit. Counseling students as to courses and job prospects. Directing admissions process for the legal graduate programs in conjunction with the Dean and Graduate Studies Committee. Drafting and operationalizing agreements relating to various graduate programs.
