Litigation Paralegal
The candidate should have medical background. Be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, records review and summation, research, and document preparation and filing. Medical background preferred. Review, analyze and summarize medical records, bills, employment and insurance records in order to prepare chronologies of injuries, damages, expenses and other losses. Oversee all discovery for multiple cases for all stages of litigation. Prepare discovery documents and correspondence seeking information from opposing counsel and third parties. Prepare for mediation, including drafting statements and summaries. Prepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness folders. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Proven working experience as a paralegal is required. Must have Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification.
