Description

In this role you’ll have the unique opportunity to help lead a large team of full-stack software engineers as we solve complex problems across the enterprise. You will collaborate with a very passionate group of business partners and leaders across Humana while creating high quality, resilient, and scalable products that will impact the lives of our members. More specifically you will be working with our Operational Risk Management partners to provide data to CMS along with audit and reporting capabilities to ensure Humana is compliant with CMS regulations and proactively prepared for an audit by CMS.

Responsibilities


Work daily with design engineering and test team to drive products around providing data to CMS from design completion to volume production release.

Become a business partner and effectively communicate and coordinate the necessary data and information need for CMS Audits and/or ad hoc reports

Performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs as well as supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components.

Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements.

Interacts with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues.

Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of experience

3 years of project leadership experience, specially projects involving big data

2 years of experience working within the healthcare industry

Strong knowledge and experience utilizing SQL, PL SQL, and .NET

Strong Data Analytic and/or Data Modeling background

Strong communicate skills and the ability to effectively deliver presentations to senior leadership

Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports


Work at Home Requirements


Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information


Preferred Qualifications


MBA or other Advanced Degree

Strong knowledge of CMS regulation

Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams

Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

Six Sigma certification

ITIL certification
