The candidate will be preparing bank loan packages and related documents for execution; Scheduling and coordinating loan closings; Conducting pre and post-closing follow up, including review of title reports/title policies and maintaining of recorded document files; Drafting transaction related documents and forms; Obtain and review loan documentation; Corresponding professionally by telephone and in writing with loan officers, mortgage brokers, title companies and clients among others, to facilitate the closing of loan transactions; Managing transactions and client files utilizing the firm’s software management program; Handling high volume transactions in a fast-paced work environment. Will also be responsible for assisting the firm’s attorney by creating legal forms, EFILING and managing client files related to litigation matters. Will be expected to help the other Paralegals/Legal Assistants, if needed. This will include answering the telephone. Paralegal must be able to multi-task, as this is a high-volume Law Firm. Should have 3+ years experience. Ability to learn and utilize the firm’s management software efficiently and effectively. 3-5 years of real estate legal paralegal experience. Thorough knowledge of survey and title review. EZ SOFT Software competent a plus. Must be experienced in drafting and reviewing closing disclosures.
