Construction Associate
The candidate should have 3-6 Years’ experience with construction law (experience with government contracts and suretyship is considered a plus). This position requires the ability to own a case from beginning to end while balancing multiple other cases and deadlines. Requires experience in drafting and negotiating commercial construction contracts, preparing construction claims, analyzing schedule and cost-related issues related to construction claims. Additional experience is also needed in providing and defending against construction claims in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Must have excellent writing and analytical skills, taking initiative to advance projects, and high attention to detail are part of the job. A Virginia Bar license will be needed but we welcome applicants licensed in other Mid-Atlantic states who can immediately waive into VA.
