Assistant /Associate General Counsel, Attorney, Worldwide Commercial
The candidate as a key member of the Legal Operations team, will act as the primary legal advisor to the Commercial group; draft, negotiate and review various contracts to support the internal business operations of the company; and will provide strategic legal guidance and advice to internal stakeholders including Medical Affairs, procurement, IT, facilities, finance, EH&S, Human Resources and other internal groups on a wide-variety of General Practice matters and projects. As a member of the company’s multi-disciplinary Legal team, under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel, Senior Attorney or Chief Legal Officer work includes: Review, draft and/or research contracts or specific contract clauses related to internal business operations; Regularly engage with internal business teams to provide “transactional” general practice legal advice and thoughtful business counsel to support day-to-day operations of the Company. Frequently collaborate with the global Compliance team, to provide legal advice related to FCPA; interactions with Health Care Professionals; foreign compliance laws and privacy regulation; Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines and manage multi-dimensional projects in a very demanding and fast-paced environment.
