A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves handling collection, eviction, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable with a high-volume caseload and possesses excellent written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Duties

• Handle breach of contract, eviction, and collection litigation from demand through judgment.
• Attend court hearings both telephonically and in person.
• Prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment.
• Manage assigned caseload to meet goals and client expectations.
• Handle escalated and time-sensitive matters as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as required.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Nevada; additional jurisdictions preferred.
• Experience with FDCPA and Article 9 of the UCC is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
