Responsibilities include:

• Drafting patent applications for innovative clients, including written descriptions and figures.


• Communicating with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office regarding pending patent applications.


• Providing technical and scientific support to patent litigation teams within your area of expertise.


• Interviewing inventors to understand and evaluate new ideas and inventions.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field, with small-molecule and/or pharmaceutical experience.


• 1–3 years of patent drafting and/or patent prosecution experience.


• Excellent writing skills and strong academic credentials.


• Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is preferred.

Compensation:

The expected salary range is $100,000–$185,000, depending on the individual's qualifications and experience.
