RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and create clinical databases within Clindex.
Design/create Tables, Forms, Functions, and Procedures.
Review CRF content to ensure consistency and standardization within and across databases.
Program Edit Checks Procedures for study databases.
Perform alpha testing on the CRF forms and edit checks procedures at the time of database release as well as post-production changes.
Works with the study team to generate any new standard and/or study specific objects.
Assist the team by programming/running status reports/metrics using reporting tools (e.g. TOAD, Crystal reports etc.)
Perform quality control of database components programmed by others.
Provide technical assistance and training to programming and non-programming personnel.
Assist in development of data verification audit listings and other audit activities.
Assist other programmers and Data Management team.
REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree in Computer Science and 6 years relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 3 years relevant experience
At least 2 years of experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical database development/ data management environment.
Excellent Clindex programming skills.
Excellent Form design and database design skills.
Experienced SQL/PLSQL programming skills.
Exposure to Oracle Clinical/Remote Data Capture (RDC) or other EDC systems preferred.
Experience with reporting tools (e.g. TOAD, Discoverer, Crystal Reports etc.) preferred.
SAS programming preferred.
