Director, Legal
The candidate reporting to Orion Global General Counsel, will provide legal support for Orion Worldwide, a savings and barter media buying agency and Rapport, OOH buying agency. Responsibilities: Drafting and review of wide-variety of contracts including agreements with clients, supplier and vendor terms of trading and media owner contracts (including sponsorship, experiential, influencers & production matters). Negotiations with clients and vendors, liaising with and reporting to group Legal Director, Agency CFOs & group finance controllers. Development and standardisation of market templates to ensure best practice. Responsibility for driving and educating agencies on operating principles. Providing training to and updating markets on changes to key terms. Monitoring & tracking of contract inventory for the Agencies, especially Orion, to ensure compliance with corporate policies and templates. Support on adhoc HR & Litigation matters. Collaborate and work cooperatively with Orion legal group consisting of Contracts Manager, Director Legal and Business Affairs, GC and Orion business team. Liaising with mediabrands and external counsel as and when required. Occasional international travel may be required.
