We are looking for a talented Per Diem Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our nursing team here at the University of Maryland Medical Center. The manager will be responsible for the delivery of patient care services that support the strategic plan of the organization and achieve clinical, financial, and service quality objectives in one or more clinical units or care delivery sites. The role is accountable for the quality of clinical services delivered; for the competency and performance of nursing, and other clinical staff, and for designing and maintaining systems to support multidisciplinary team functioning and continuity of services. The Manager, Nursing also serves as a key participant in organizational project teams and workgroups.
General OR
- performs surgeries on the patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric for both inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- Transplant (Heart, Lung, Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, Face & Limb) - Cardiac - Robotic - Oncology - Vascular - Plastic & Reconstructive - Thoracic - GI - Orthopedic and more!
Our General Operating Room is a 52,000 square foot operating facility comprised of 22 operating rooms for adult and pediatric patients, and two additional minor procedure rooms.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland.
Experienced as a circulating nurse required in an inpatient facility, outpatient surgical office, or other environment performing surgical services to patients.
CNOR preferred.
