We are looking for curious, energetic, out of the box thinkers to test Windows and web applications. You will be performing testing and must be able to clearly describe defects and reproducible steps to assist software developers in creating a high-quality applications. Must possess basic computer knowledge and able to navigate through the Windows operating system and have the willingness and ability to learn new technologies. Other tasks and responsibilities include:
* Reproduce and validate expected behavior of all production defects found.
* Create, verify, and close defects for new feature development on the defect tracking system.
* Create test cases.
Must be able to effectively and proactively communicate in English (verbal and written); be collaborative and extremely team oriented; possess a positive attitude; have a willingness to work hard; and able to shift priorities as needed. Other tasks and duties as directed by Manager as well as working overtime (including weekends) may also be required.
Qualifications:
2 years minimum technical QA experience with Windows OS software and applications, more experience preferred
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience testing commercial (“shrink wrap”) software applications is a major plus
H1b transfers may be considered. Only qualified applications will be responded to. No third parties please. Must have current authorization to work in the USA. Relocation benefits are not offered with this position.
