Local food & travel publication looking for a skilled content writer.
Tasks include (but not limited to):
-doing research for content pieces
-ghost writing
-rephrasing and rewriting press releases
-writing original and engaging content pieces (features, listicles, how-tos, etc.) based on an outline
-making edits and revisions based on feedback
Qualifications:
-proper grammar and spelling
-ability to write SEO optimized blog articles
-ability to write in a creative and compelling but casual manner (think Bon Appetit and the Eater)
-ability to write original content (all content will be checked for plagiarism)
-experience writing and knowledge about food & beverage and travel is an asset
-the candidate is expected to be professional, punctual, and communicative
Depending on performance, the individual will be given the opportunity to work on additional projects raises every quarter.
