Litigation Paralegal
The candidate will provide support to attorneys in all facets of plaintiff’s personal injury case management. Should have 15+ years’ experience in plaintiff’s personal injury practice. Must be capable of working independently in fast-paced environment handling cases from intake/inception through litigation and trial preparation. Must be highly organized and meticulous and prideful in their work product. Must be proficient in all aspects of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation including: Drafting, preparation and service of: Summons & Complaints, Bills of Particulars and all Pleadings. Discovery Demands and Responses. Motions, including, compelling discovery, default judgment and summary judgment. Trial subpoenas. Must be experienced in and capable of: Medical records analysis. Assisting attorney preparation for Court conferences, depositions and for complex trials. All manners of correspondence. Maintaining and running a litigation Calender. Must be capable of producing work-related documents efficiently and accurately; have strong communication skills and be comfortable speaking with clients, opposing counsel and Court personnel. Knowledge of New York State e-filing system is a must.
