Job Description:
The Senior Research Engineer will work with a multi-disciplinary team in the development and support of new membrane products. Duties will include planning and executing work plans, fabricating and characterizing membranes, analyzing laboratory data to understand underlying phenomena, presenting findings at group meetings, writing project reports and new research proposals, and developing membrane and module scale up procedures.
Requirements:
A PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline is required with a preference for specialization in membrane science. No prior work experience is necessary, but 2-5 years in a relevant field or job function is preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem solving skills, and be an effective written and verbal communicator. An ability to work closely with other team members and project partners outside MTR to achieve group goals is a must.
Salary Range:
Salary ranges for MTR positions are dependent on the level of education, number of years of relevant experience the candidate has, and what other MTR employees in similar positions with a similar skill set are earning. We estimate the range for this position to be between $110,100 and $151,100.
