The candidate should be familiar with Pre-suit and litigation in the areas of Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury. Job duties consist of 1) updating physical case files - pleadings, discovery, correspondence,answer phone calls (low call volume office) etc.; 2) efiling on the Court's online portal, e-serving to parties in a case and e-courtesy copies to the Court; 3) familiar with using Dropbox and Clio law office management software or some other type of law firm management software; and 4) proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. The firm specializes in property damage insurance litigation (first party and AOB), medical malpractice/personal injury, foreclosure defense, employment law and immigration so a knowledge in some or all of those fields is a plus.
