Senior Paralegal
Duties: Provides senior paralegal specialist services directly and independently supporting attorneys in the Criminal and Civil divisions by providing a wide variety of professional and technical assistance services. The work requires a specialized knowledge of the processes, procedures, and practices of activities in conjunction with a knowledge of clerical and administrative office skills and an ability to apply these skills to increase the effectiveness of the assigned attorneys. Assignments vary based on the case, but characteristically involve analyzing legal decisions; compiling substantive information on legal subjects; and collecting, analyzing, and evaluating evidence in connection with hearing appeals, litigation, or advisory services when these assignments require a specialized knowledge of law.
