Clinical Assistant Or Clinical Associate Professor, Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic
Duties: Work with other L&E Clinic staff to supervise law students working with entrepreneurs and startup businesses. Meet regularly to provide guidance and instruction, review and approve student work, attend client meetings, and evaluate student performance. In partnership with other L&E Clinic staff, develop curriculum for the classroom component of the L&E Clinic and for the capstone course. Teach substantive classes as appropriate. Collaborate with other L&E Clinic staff on the ongoing development of the Clinic including: improving systems and processes; participating in client selection and development; maintaining community and entrepreneurial connections; researching, writing and disseminating articles and presentations addressing legal and other issues arising from the work of the L&E Clinic; leading, or assisting in, legislative and administrative advocacy on issues of interest to the L&E Clinic, its students, and clients; and leading or assisting with other strategic initiatives. Collaborate with greater entrepreneurial community to grow that ecosystem and positively influence the economy of Wisconsin. Participate in Law School service and committee work.
