Duties

• Evaluate case facts and legal merits to advise clients and develop comprehensive resolution strategies.



• Draft formal complaints, answers, legal briefs, and dispositive motions for state or federal courts.



• Manage discovery processes, including conducting depositions, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing records.



• Negotiate with opposing counsel and participate in mediations to resolve disputes outside of court.



• Argue motions, examine witnesses, and present trials or appeals before judges and juries.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, or trial practice.



• Active license to practice law in the state of Wisconsin.



• Proven experience in courtroom advocacy, motion practice, and conducting depositions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Wisconsin license to practice law.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
