Location / salary: Cleveland, OH; hybrid; full-time direct hire.

$72,000–$105,000 annually based on experience, education, and qualifications. 3+ years of paralegal experience.

Overview: Support attorneys in a respected Cleveland law office. Detail-oriented legal professional should understand Ohio workers’ compensation procedures and independently manage claims, filings, and deadlines.

Responsibilities: Prepare workers’ compensation claims for administrative hearings; draft pleadings, claim summaries, correspondence, and legal documents; request, organize, and review medical records; coordinate independent medical examinations and summary correspondence; monitor case activity, filing requirements, and deadlines; electronically submit documents to courts/agencies; proofread filings; assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials; communicate with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and outside parties; identify and escalate issues.

Qualifications: 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal setting; working knowledge of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and Industrial Commission of Ohio procedures; paralegal certificate, related degree, or bachelor’s degree preferred; Microsoft Office; strong writing, proofreading, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines; sound judgment and proactive attorney support.
