Personal Injury Case Manager
The candidate will be opening new files and making the initial client contact and continue contact with clients on a regular basis. Fully investigate each case, gathering, and analyzing intake information and relevant documents. Enter pertinent information into ATO data base. Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, and maintain contact with insurance company. Manage client’s medical care keeping in constant communication with client’s and medical providers. Schedule and calendar medical appointments, explain procedures and related documentation to clients. Continuously monitor case status, review medical records. Organize and maintain case files, preparing files to be submitted to demand writers. Should have 3-5 years of experience managing a heavy case load in the Personal Injury field. Candidate must have experience managing a file from inception to demands and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail orientated, organized with excellent follow through in order to meet multiple deadlines. Must have excellent communication and people skills as this role requires heavy client contact. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance terminology a plus. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
