Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Case Development Intake Attorney in Austin, TX. The attorney will manage a docket of approximately 50 cases, working closely with a case manager to investigate, preserve evidence, and develop medical and triage assigned cases. Responsibilities include securing accident reports, handling property damage claims, and communicating with clients and adjusters.

Duties

• Investigate and develop commercial cases.
• Accept and evaluate incoming calls from potential new clients.
• Secure authorization to sign up or decline claims.
• Explain attorney-client contracts and sign up cases.
• Prepare monthly status reports for clients.
• Manage clients during the case development intake process.
• Prepare and document demands for case settlements.

Requirements

• JD; must be licensed in Texas and in good standing.
• 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
• Strong commitment to client service.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Previous customer service/sales experience preferred.
• Valid TX driver license and good driving record.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas
