Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Litigation Associate for its Chattanooga office. The role involves handling complex intellectual property matters, including TTAB proceedings, domain name disputes, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement, primarily within the Financial Services and Capital Markets sector.

Duties

• Manage a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including large domestic and international portfolios.



• Handle proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).



• Draft and respond to demand letters, support litigation efforts, and manage copyright registrations.



• Negotiate and draft trademark and copyright licensing agreements and technology contracts.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of experience in trademark litigation and TTAB proceedings is preferred.



• Experience with cross-border matters and international trademark portfolios is desired.



• Must hold an active bar license in the state corresponding to the office or commit to obtaining one promptly.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active bar license in the relevant state.
