A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its expanding Civil Litigation practice group in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators, contribute to case strategy, and build strong client relationships within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies while exercising sound judgment.



• Manage case responsibilities from inception through resolution, ensuring effective client communication.



• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive written and oral arguments.



• Collaborate with senior attorneys to support case development and trial preparation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.



• Active membership in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.



• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.



• Ability to manage multiple case responsibilities effectively and independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.

Skills

• Experience in insurance defense is preferred.



• Proven ability to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.



• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships.
