Duties

• Collaborate on complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed memoranda and pleadings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Stay informed on legal developments and industry trends in bankruptcy law.
• Attend bankruptcy court hearings.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 3+ years of commercial litigation and bankruptcy experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Submission of 1-2 writing samples, 10-15 pages double spaced, written within the last 5 years.
