A law firm seeks a passionate and experienced Employment Attorney to join their Pre-Litigation team in West Hollywood, CA. This role involves advocating for workers whose rights have been violated, handling cases such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations.

Duties

• Manage cases through the pre-litigation process from intake through demand, negotiation, and settlement.
• Review and analyze case files to identify legal issues and develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates and settlement offers.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant statutes and case law.
• Review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement quality assurance measures for pre-litigation processes.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to legal staff as needed.

Requirements

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• 2-7 years of attorney experience in employment law.
• Strong knowledge of California labor and employment law, including FEHA, CFRA, FMLA, and wage and hour regulations.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a robust caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California State Bar membership.
