A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Business Immigration for a hybrid position based in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in employment-based immigration law, demonstrating strong analytical and writing skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude. This role involves both in-office and remote work.

Duties

• Prepare case strategies and employment-based filings with USCIS, DOL, and DOS.
• Prepare consular and CBP packets as needed.
• File motions, briefs, and other pleadings with DHS, BIA, and BALCA.
• Communicate with clients, including HR professionals and individuals.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys.
• Oversee legal staff in delivering assigned matters.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on immigration law changes.

Requirements

• JD licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in business or family immigration law.
• Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
