Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate for its Denver, CO office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in complex commercial litigation, working primarily with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team.

Duties

• Conduct factual investigations and discovery.
• Prepare pleadings and legal documents.
• Take depositions and argue motions.
• Participate in mediation and client communications.
• Engage in state and federal court proceedings.

Requirements

• Three to five years of commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations beneficial.
• Second-chair trial or arbitration experience preferred.
• Judicial clerkship experience with a federal court preferred.
• Colorado bar license or commitment to obtain one required.

Education

• Excellent academic record required.

Certifications

• Colorado bar license or eligibility to obtain one.
