Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Partner in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract and business torts, and will lead litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Duties

• Lead complex commercial litigation matters, including trial and arbitration.
• Manage litigation strategies in state and federal court.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions of various witnesses.
• Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain communication with clients and opposing counsel.
• Supervise litigation teams and mentor associates.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive litigation experience.
• Active license to practice law in Colorado.
• Second-chair trial or arbitration experience required; first-chair experience preferred.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
• Law firm experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.

Certifications

• Active Colorado law license.
