Duties

• Defend a variety of insurance defense matters.
• Handle general liability, personal injury, product liability, and professional liability cases.
• Write motions and legal memoranda, summarize depositions, and prepare for trials.
• Work independently from suit inception to settlement or trial.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in insurance defense.
• Ability to work independently and manage cases from start to finish.

Education

• Juris Doctorate Degree

Certifications

• Active Connecticut Bar License (required).
• Active Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire Bar Licensure, or ability to transfer UBE scores (a plus).

Skills

• Strong legal writing and trial preparation skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
