Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney to join its national commercial real estate lending practice in Hartford, CT, with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in commercial real estate, primarily representing lenders.

Duties

• Represent lenders in commercial real estate transactions across various asset classes.
• Handle structured debt and secondary market transactions, including loan buying and selling.
• Advise on New York governing law, particularly New York lien law, consolidation, and assignments.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in commercial real estate lending.
• Experience in lender representation across all asset classes preferred.
• Knowledge of structured debt and secondary market transactions desired.
• Familiarity with New York governing law preferred.
• Admission to the NY and CT bar preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdictions.
