This remote position involves representing clients in workers' compensation cases by preparing for and conducting Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) depositions. Duties

• Review case files to assess status and identify resolution opportunities.
• Prepare deposition strategy and questions.
• Conduct QME depositions, both applicant-set and defense-set.
• Document findings and recommendations in the case management system.
• Manage exhibits and make strategic decisions during depositions.
• Maintain accurate case files and communicate with team members.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active California law license.
• 1+ years of experience in workers' compensation litigation preferred.
• Knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and QME processes.
• Experience in a workers' compensation defense or applicant firm is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Active member of the State Bar of California.

Skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and work independently.
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office.
