A law firm seeks a Professional Liability Attorney to join its litigation team in Wilmington, DE. Duties

• Manage and litigate professional liability, general liability, and toxic tort cases from inception through resolution.



• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.



• Collaborate with team members on case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation in a fast-paced environment.



• Track billable hours and maintain accurate case files using firm management systems.

Requirements

• Current and active Bar membership in good standing in PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, DC, and/or CT.



• Prior professional liability litigation experience is preferred, though candidates with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.



• Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.



• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask effectively.



• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and LexisNexis.



• Familiarity with case and file management systems is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one of the specified jurisdictions.
