Duties

• Advise clients on tax planning, corporate formation, deal structures, acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, and restructurings.



• Manage federal and state tax implications, choice of entity decisions, and interactions with taxing authorities.



• Handle federal tax audits, administrative appeals, and state and local tax compliance matters.

Requirements

• Four to eight years of relevant experience in tax law and business transactions.



• Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri.



• Ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education

• LL.M. in taxation is required.



• Strong academic achievement in prior legal studies.

Certifications

• Current bar admission in Missouri.

Skills

• Experience with cross-border matters and complex business transactions.



• Strong client interaction and self-starter mentality.



• Ability to manage state and local taxing authority relationships.
