Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney in St. Louis, MO, to join a dynamic team handling state and federal matters. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside seasoned practitioners in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment, focusing on trial preparation, complex litigation, and client advocacy.

Duties

• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences, and court appearances while building a robust trial record.


• Collaborate with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to prepare evidence, documents, and presentations.


• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other essential legal documents.


• Manage a large caseload, multitasking effectively in a high-volume litigation setting.


 

Requirements

• Seven to ten or more years of experience in the legal field with strong litigation and trial skills.


• Working knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures.


• Ability to handle large caseloads and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.


• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with corporate professionals.


 

Education

• A law degree from an ABA accredited law school.


 

Certifications

• Actively licensed in Missouri.


• Ability to become licensed in Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, or Nebraska.
