A law firm seeks a Healthcare Transactions Associate to join its healthcare practice in Houston, TX. The associate will be a key member of deal teams advising on healthcare and legal management services organization transactions.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Manage due diligence processes.
• Coordinate specialist reviews.
• Supervise junior associates.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of corporate/M&A experience, with healthcare transactions experience preferred.
• Private practice or law firm experience preferred; private equity experience is a plus.
• Relevant transactional experience from in-house roles considered.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and project management skills.
• Sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Strong academic background.

Certifications

• Active member of the Bar in the state of residence, or ability to waive in.
