A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in Houston, Texas. This role involves managing high-volume plaintiffs' cases, providing compassionate client service, and collaborating with a dynamic national team. Duties

• Represent clients through all phases of pre-litigation and litigation, from initial intake to final resolution.



• Draft and review pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery responses while ensuring procedural accuracy.



• Direct and monitor the probate process in coordination with docket managers and legal support staff.



• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and case-related documentation to build strong case strategies.



• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, explain legal processes, and resolve issues with empathy.



• Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other law firms involved in complex litigation matters.



• Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed to advance client interests.



• Contribute to process improvements by following and refining documented legal procedures.



• Provide assistance with overflow tasks and special projects to support team efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or probate law.



• Mass tort or probate experience is desired and considered a plus.



• Proven ability to handle depositions, hearings, and mediations is preferred.



• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.



• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.



• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills with attention to detail.



• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PACER and Excel is helpful.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Texas State Bar membership is required.
