A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Beachwood, OH to assist in serving a diverse client base across various legal matters, including complex business and real estate disputes, creditor's rights litigation, and employment and partnership issues.

Duties

• Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw databases.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice to clients.
• Engage in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial.
• Investigate claims and prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Interact with expert witnesses and handle settlement negotiations.
• Supervise and delegate work to paralegals and legal support staff.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures related to litigation.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience in drafting dispositive, expert, and/or discovery motions.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
