Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate to join its growing team in Plano, Texas. The office is expanding into a full-service location, offering a dynamic environment with opportunities to work on diverse legal matters, including banking, mergers and acquisitions, product liability, and commercial litigation.

Duties

• Manage and lead litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court and during negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners and other associates on complex legal issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of litigation experience in a mid-size to large law firm or equivalent trial experience.
• Experience in personal injury, products liability, or insurance defense is advantageous.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.
• Admitted in Good Standing to the State Bar of Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
