A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney in Plantation, FL. This role involves representing contractors, developers, and design professionals in complex disputes involving defect claims, torts, and contractual issues. The ideal candidate will manage cases from inception through trial, providing strategic counsel and robust litigation support.

Duties

• Provide legal counseling and services to clients in construction-related disputes, including defect claims and torts.



• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue dispositive motions, and prepare pleadings and correspondence.



• Attend site inspections, hearings, mediations, and trials while conducting legal research and case law analysis.



• Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel to advance case strategies.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.



• Minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience, with preference given to those experienced in construction litigation.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.

Skills

• Strong ability to analyze case law and provide strategic legal analysis.



• Proficiency in managing complex litigation matters from pre-trial through trial.
