Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level transactional associate to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group in Washington, DC. The associate will work within a collaborative, multi-office team representing public company clients across various industries, focusing on complex securities, corporate governance, capital markets, and regulatory matters.

Duties

• Represent large Nasdaq and NYSE-listed public company clients.
• Engage in complex securities and corporate governance matters.
• Handle capital markets and regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with a dynamic, multi-office team.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of corporate & securities experience at a large regional or national law firm.
• Experience with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 matters.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible for licensing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of employment.
