This role involves advising clients on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including those related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and financings.

Duties

• Advise on complex real estate transactions in M&A contexts.
• Lead standalone real estate transactions.
• Negotiate and draft complex commercial leases.
• Conduct and coordinate real estate due diligence.
• Manage real estate aspects of corporate transactions.
• Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements.
• Represent borrowers in mortgage loan transactions.
• Manage closing of real estate transactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of transactional real estate experience.
• Experience with complex commercial lease negotiations.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to independently handle core real estate tasks.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.

Certifications

• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to promptly get admitted in the state of Minnesota.
