A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney with a minimum of one year of experience to join their team in Tampa, FL. Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce and child custody cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents with precision.
• Prepare for and participate in court proceedings and mediation.
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and legal counsel.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation matters when applicable.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• At least one year of experience in family law or related litigation areas.
• Strong knowledge of procedural law and courtroom procedures specific to family law.
• Proficiency in legal research; experience with CLIO preferred.
• Excellent legal writing skills and demonstrated negotiation ability.
• Familiarity with other specialized areas is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
