Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, Florida. The position offers remote day-to-day work, with a preference for candidates based in Tampa Bay, Orlando, or South Florida. The attorney will have the autonomy to manage cases with support from a dedicated team.

Duties

• Independently manage Florida divorce, paternity, and family law cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.
• Maintain accurate billing records and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
• At least 3 years of substantial Florida family law experience.
• Currently practicing family law.
• Extensive knowledge of Florida family law, rules, and court procedures.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, legal research, and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
