Duties

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications with a focus on complex technical inventions.


• Provide strategic counsel on standards-essential patents and post-grant proceedings.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sophisticated intellectual property matters.


• Engage in pro bono public service and community-building initiatives.


 

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.


• Experience in wireless telecommunications, communication networks, or electrical hardware preferred.


• Background in computer networks, semiconductors, cloud computing, or data security desired.


• Experience with mechanical inventions, medical devices, or digital health is a plus.


• Strong academic record and a growth mindset within a team-oriented environment.


 

Education

• Technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent fields.


 

Certifications

• Active patent bar registration required.

• Proficiency in handling standards-related technologies and communication networks.
