Duties
- Manage cases proactively from start to finish in state and federal courts.
- Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and conduct legal research.
- Communicate frequently with clients and provide detailed reports.
- Conduct comprehensive legal analysis and case evaluations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with expert witnesses.
- Attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations.
- Prepare for and attend trials.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
- 5-7 years of civil litigation and General Liability experience in state and federal courts.
- Familiarity with risk transfer through contractual indemnification/insurance coverage provisions.
- Ability to review and understand medical records and scientific literature.
- Proactive management of a large caseload from start to finish.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent research, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and contributing to client development.
Education
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
